The Frog and the Wanderer

A wanderer went through a swamp.
He passed by a frog with a grim and bored expression on his face.
„Why are you looking so grimly ?" the wanderer asked.
„I’m still waiting for the princess to rescue me." the frog answered.
The wanderer said: „You do it totally wrong. Here are no princesses and it seldom occurs that one stumbles into this swamp."
„But I can’t leave from here. The others will laugh at me, when they see me like this in a frog’s shape and will tell me „Go back into the swamp where you belong.’"
„When you rate others’ opinions so high, you will never do what you desire tells you, and be always unsatisfied. I’ll give you two hints:
Here in this swamp you’ll always remain a frog. Go out into the world, then your true shape will shine through more and more.
Besides - Princesses don’t always look like princesses. Why shouldn’t there also be enchanted princesses ? Haven’t you thought of that ?"
